I’ve worked at very senior levels for the biggest and the best. So I know how large recruitment firms work, what their motivators are, and how so many of them reward performance on the basis of dollars in rather than quality out.

We all know those big agencies have some advantages.  Sure they can solicit Fortune 100 accounts with their international perspective, and they can pour tons of money and expensive manpower into things like surveys (which are seldom relevant to the Western marketplace) and glossy brochures aimed at convincing you of their incredible powers at recruiting top talent.  Unfortunately all that assumed clout also enables them to strong-arm candidates, but let's not go there.

Having started my career with big agencies, I learned a lot about what’s important to North America's top employers.  I learned that a a fierce dedication to standing behind one's word, and a golden reputation earned through hard work, is all that matters in the long run - and I'm here for the long run!

I learned that you can't have one without the other.  And I learned that when it comes to having truly great people to work with ... size really doesn't mean a thing.
