Senior Finance and Communications Executive

ROLE

 A Junior Resource, Exploration, start-up company is seeking a Senior Finance and Communications Executive for their Downtown Vancouver office. This firm has been in operation for 2 years, and currently has 6 properties in B.C. During this growth faze, this company is in acquisition mode, and is actively looking to acquire additional properties in both B.C. and globally. With a strong team of geological staff who are very experienced and renowned in the mining industry the company is well capitalized and financed.  In a Management position, the Senior Finance and Communications Executive will be involved with external Investor Relations and Financial Communication, as well as working with Shareholders, acquisitions, business development, networking, and various tasks as required as the company grows.

SKILLS

 The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics and experience in the Investor/Finance area:
  • Securities License – current or previous license holder.
  • Well rounded network base in the brokerage, financial/investment and marketing sectors
  • Must be able to ”think outside of the box” and be a strong         problem solver
  • Proven track record and very good with people (Strong People Skills)
  • Must have excellent communication skills and strong public speaking skills
  • Must be very diplomatic and amicable
  • Can take direction and positive criticism from senior officers and the Board of Directors
  • Able to work within a blueprint agenda and Strategic Business design/ formula while enhancing the existing business plan
  • Willing to learn new methods /approaches to business and implementing them
  • Embraces change
  • Not required to be from the “Mining Industry”.

SALARY
