ROLE:

The candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of buildings. This includes managing maintenance service contracts, managing on-site personnel, construction activities, technical supervision and compliance with safety procedures, plans and specifications e.g. general project work, interior renovations and building maintenance.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing all operations and maintenance of the facilities including mechanical systems, DDC, HVAC, cooling towers, chillers, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Interfacing with tenants, the client, vendors, contractors
• Manage site maintenance personnel performance
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting of operating expenses, including expense participation and annual tenant reconciliation
• Conducting annual property inspections to ensure proper operation and reliability of equipment and building components.


SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in facility management with a minimum of five (5) years of Facility Manager experience.
• An excellent working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (CPM, RPA, CET or trade licenses, are assets)
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Some travel is required.
