ROLE
an International Engineering Company's Property Management division is currently seeking a qualified Senior Project Team Lead for Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Director of Project Delivery, the Senior Project Team Lead will be Responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing and controlling all assigned projects as well as supervision of field project staff. Accountable to the Director of Project Delivery for the monitoring, reporting and delivery of a program of projects within a region, or portfolio of buildings this position is responsible for providing direction and mentoring to all project delivery personnel assigned to the program of projects. The Senior Project Team Lead will manage all aspects of Repair, Capital or Tenant renovation projects, and oversee the project life cycle using a PMI based process from initiation, planning, design, implementation through to project close out. Additional duties include, procurement of required consultants/ contractors using acceptable corporate sourcing practices and Co-ordination of all consultants/ contractors and technical resources required to deliver the scope of work, providing support to Quality Management for these projects through site visits and completion of the necessary reporting, and supporting Commissioning Manager for completion of project commissioning requirements Managing project budgets and timelines to exceed Key Performance Indicator requirements, and day to day decision making and client interaction which impacts directly on credibility and client satisfaction while Minimizing disruption to the client environment during project implementation.
SKILLS
Qualifications include, 7 + years related Project management experience in a multi discipline Construction environment dealing with both contractors and consultants. Related project management credentials (PMI) and Architectural/Engineering, or Engineering Technology or related construction disciplines. Experience in the administration of codes, legislative regulations, procurement policies and industry standards relating to the delivery of construction projects and construction law would be preferable. Excellent computer skills in such areas as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Project and working knowledge of J.D. Edwards will be an asset or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communication skills, Budgeting, customer service/client relation skills, and financial reporting experience.
SALARY
