ROLE , a Vancouver Advertising agency is currently seeking a qualified Sales Coordinator to report to the Managing Director. This position is responsible for receiving processing and invoicing of orders for one of this Agency’s largest clients, and arranging for delivery to the client’s Distribution Centers throughout Canada and the US. Duties include effectively communicating with all departments/divisions that impact this piece of business by keeping them informed of any changes/ issues that arise. The Sales Coordinator must provide timely and accurate direction to suppliers regarding labeling and shipping directions and ensure that the staff is kept informed of the status of sales and the distribution of premiums. This position will be responsible for receiving and processing all orders received in the client’s proprietary database program, provides sales reports and statistical analysis of data for marketing initiatives, planning meetings and annual renewal, in addition to working on the annual renewal process for the US program. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will oversee the recording of demographic statistics and communicating with the client on a regular basis and distribute samples and letters to Canada, US, International mailing lists, and new inquiries. The Sales Coordinator will work with Managing Director to develop International Sales and with the accounting department ensure timely billing and the resolutions of any outstanding accounts receivable. The Sales Coordinator helps to develop and present creative briefs on annual brochures and will be responsible for writing tip sheets for all premiums, and writes articles for the client Information/Newsletter. SKILLS The Sales Coordinator must demonstrate creativity in dealing with all customer inquiries, in addition to identifying and resolving potential problems.
